Ricky graduated from Bosse High School in 1972 and attended the University of Southern Indiana. He worked as a UPS freight driver. Ricky was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church where he enjoyed coaching youth sports.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard C. Dixon.
Ricky is survived by his wife of 14 years, Beth Dixon; daughters, Brooke Baker, Cori Dixon, and Taylor Dixon; mother, Betty Dixon; sister, Jackie Craig; and brother, Scott Dixon.
Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1301 S. Green River Road, officiated by Rev. Bernard Etienne with burial at Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander East Chapel with a vigil service at 7:30 PM. Visitation will also be held Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
