Riley Christopher Bays-Weimer

Infant Riley Christopher Bays-Weimer, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, after fighting a hard battle during his short life. He was born December 11, 2016, in Newburgh, to Troy and Angie (Bays) Weimer.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Linda Bays and Peggy Weimer; uncle, Christopher Bays; and three siblings.

Riley is survived by his parents, Troy and Angie Weimer; “Grandpa Rick” Richard Bays and “Poppy” Dale Weimer; uncle, Derek Weimer; cousins, Zayden Weimer and Zytaya Kirk; great-grandmothers, Dorothy Marshall and Mary Bays; and several other great-uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be 12:00 PM Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Pastor Cathy West, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the NICU staff at the Women’s Hospital for their compassionate care of Riley, as well as the staff at Riley Children’s Hospital.
