Bob accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in the spring of 1937. As a young man, he helped establish the “Youth for Christ Prayer Band” at East Side Baptist Church. Throughout his life, Bob was passionate about sharing his faith and helping others grow in their relationship with the Lord. He was instrumental in establishing, building, and serving in several Baptist churches throughout Evansville, including Northwoods Church, where he faithfully served and worshiped. His prayer was that each of these churches would continue to encourage people to develop a growing, personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Bob’s heartfelt desire is that everyone who reads this obituary or attends his memorial service will take this opportunity to come to know Jesus Christ personally and experience the same peace, joy, and abundant life that he knew through Him.
