Robert "Bob" C. Ebinger

Robert “Bob” C. Ebinger, 85, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Deaconess Hospice Care Center. He was born June 5, 1927, in Evansville, to the late Edward and Carrie (Satterfield) Ebinger.

He loved to play golf, gardening and puttering around the yard.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Ebinger; daughter, Karen Bender; sister, Carolyn Curtis; and brother, Carl Ebinger.

He is survived by his daughter, Charlene Laib and husband, Max, and her sons, Alan Mueller and wife, Erin of Portage, MI and their daughter, Hailey, and Chris Mueller and wife, Allison of Collierville, TN and their sons, Colton, Caleb and Aidan; Charlene’s stepson, Terry Laib and wife, Kelly, and their daughters, Mallorie and Jenna; Charlene’s stepdaughter, Karla Wingo and husband, Mike, and their son, Michael Barrow and wife, Ashley, and their daughter, Kaelyn; brothers, Earl Ebinger and Paul Ebinger and wife, Dorothy, and their daughters, Terri and Linda; niece, Carla Gelhausen and husband, Jeff, and their children, Nathan, Nicole, Katelyn and Zachary; and niece, Dana Curtis.

Services will be 4:00 PM Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Pastor Bruce Applegate, with private burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
