Bob graduated from Harrison High School and the University of Evansville. He went on to work in the plastic and steel industries.
He is survived by a long list of children, grandchildren, brothers, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers Billy, Alan, and Steve, and his parents Clarence and Eleanor.
A truly gifted pianist, Bob enjoyed playing at churches throughout Indiana and Florida, as well as at the Pour House, a family-owned pizza restaurant. He also enjoyed telling his family about Celebration Station in Florida, for the first time, year after year. His sense of humor is carried on by his children, who will always remember his smile and his laugh. Robert will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday March 20th from 3 PM to 7 PM, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville, IN 47714.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Human Rights Campaign in Robert’s name.
