Robert P. “Bob” Harpole, 83, of Evansville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at his home. He was born December 13, 1929, in Evansville, to the late Ralph and Bonibel (Harger) Harpole.
He owned and operated Harpole’s Tavern on Division Street and was a Veteran of the US Air Force, serving from 1948-1952.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Terry Harpole.
He is survived by his daughter, Judy (Harpole) Meyers and husband, Jerry, of Indianapolis; sons, Bob Harpole and wife, Barb, of South Pasadena, CA, Danny Harpole and wife, Jennifer, of Evansville and Kenny Harpole and wife, Ellen, of Newburgh; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Harpole and wife, Betty; and sisters, Bonnie Stephens and husband, Joe, and Betty Hickey.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Alexander East Chapel, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, with memorial services at 5:00 PM.
