

Robert A. “Bob” Hofmann, 76, of Evansville, Indiana passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024 at the Evansville Protestant Home. He was born on May 12, 1947, in Evansville to the late Edwin and Ruth (Hilgeman) Hofmann.
Bob retired from Inland Container after 35 years of service. Bob enjoyed boating, 4-wheeling, camping, water skiing, and traveling west. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Carol Ann Hofmann in 2012; sister, Doris Bastain (Joe); and best friend and brother-in-law, Larry Taylor. Bob and Carol were married at McCutchanville Methodist Church on October 2, 1965.
Bob is survived by his son, Lonny Hofmann; daughter, Lora McMahon (Charles); grandchildren, Nathan Hofmann (Halley Gourley), Brock Hofmann, and Luke McMahon; great-grandchildren, Jade Hofmann, Brylee Hofmann, and Winter Hofmann; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, February 9, 2024, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue. Private Graveside Services will be held at Locust Hill Cemetery with Pastor Chad Eckels officiating.
