

Robert Edward “Eddie” McLean, 77, of Cadiz, KY, formerly of Evansville, IN passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at home. He was born in Evansville, IN on October 17, 1943 to the late Rufus and Anna Belle Pfingston McLean.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Rufus McLean, Jr.; sister, Betty Ann Kroeger; and granddaughter, Tiffany Michele Brown.
Eddie is survived by his wife of 56 years, Donna Faye McLean, Cadiz, KY; daughter, Lori Lynne Brown Riley (Tim King), Cadiz, KY; son, Jeffrey Edward McLean (Jennifer), Seattle, WA; brother, Owen McLean (Robin), Danville, IN; sister, Mary Howard (Lester), Newburgh, IN; two grandchildren, Benjamin Scott Brown, Evansville, IN and Nicole Leitner, Seattle, WA; two great grandchildren, Lincoln Edward Brown, Evansville, IN and Willow Leitner, Seattle, WA.
Eddie spent 37 years working for the CSX Railroad, as a Carmen, in Evansville, IN before retirement in 2004. He was of the Methodist Faith, member of the International Brotherhood Railway Carmen, Newburgh Jaycees in Indiana, active member of the Friends of Lake Barkley, Vice President of the Blue Springs Boat Club, Inc. He enjoyed boating with his family and friends and loved helping anyone who needed him.
A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Alexander West Chapel in Evansville, IN officiated by James Gorman with burial to follow in Alexander Memorial Park in Evansville, IN. Friends may visit on Saturday 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
