I served with Bob as his PSNCO when he was the S1 with the HHD 766 Transportation Battalion. He was indeed one of the finest officers I ever encountered during some 26 years of military service.  I am saddened to learn that he passed but am confident that he lived a good life, was loved by many and that I will see him again when we're all with the Lord. 

Cheryl, Linda and I just this morning heard of Bob's passing. We are shocked and saddened. You have our deepest sympathies. We offer our prayers for Bob, and for you and Matt. May he rest in God's peace, and may His peace comfort you.

I am sorry that we were not able to visit with you at the mortuary.  Bob was a fine man and a proud soldier.  We had many conversations about our work in Vietnam, and he was a good friend to me when I went to work with the bank.

We could use a lot more men like Bob.  He will be missed.

May he, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Cheryl and Matt, you have my heartfelt sympathy for your loss.  I was saddened to hear of Bob's demise.  As a retired employee of ONB, it was my great pleasure and privilege to have worked with Bob when he was President of ONB in Mt. Carmel.  I will always remember Bob as a caring and compassionate person.  He was so polite, courteous and friendly to all of us and our customers.  As a retired Lt. Col. of our Armed Forces,    I thank God for Bob's service and sacrifice during the Vietnam War and on his weekends with the National Guard.  He truly personified the attributes of courage, honor, valor, and service.  He helped to preserve our freedoms, and I say, "job well done", Bob, and may you rest in peace.

I served in the 11th ACR in Vietnam, I am sorry for your loss. I just wanted to pay my respects to a fallen brother.

I was saddened to read of Bob's passing.  I had the great fortune of working with Bob early in my career.  He was great to work with and a lot of fun to be around.  He will be greatly missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with Cheryl and the family.

Very sorry to hear of the death of Bob.  Our prayers go with him and the family.   I served with Bob in the Army Reserve and were friendly competitors in banking--ONB and CNB.  He was always the Gentleman.

Steve and I are so sorry for your loss Cheryl and family. We were happy to spend a few minutes talking a few weeks ago.

I knew Bob from Banking. He was with ONB and I was with CNB. We last talked during our mornings at YMCA.

Bob sat was at my table at the last Reitz Class of 64 Men's group. He was a leader and organizer for the group. I am shocked and saddened by his passing.
