Ronald G. Moore
September 15, 1945 – January 18, 2022

Ronald G. Moore, 76, passed away peacefully at home, January 18, 2022, surrounded by his family. Ron was born To Roscoe and Lucille Moore in Evansville.
He graduated from F.J. Reitz High School in 1963. Ron then enlisted in the United States Marines Corp, serving from 1965-1969, including a tour in Vietnam where he was a helicopter mechanic. He married his loving wife, Martha (Berry) August 8, 1970. Ron retired from Whirlpool Corporation, where he worked from 1969-2006. After retirement, Ron and Martha enjoyed traveling, especially to South Dakota and other parts of the West. He also treasured spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Martha; daughter, Heather Buckley (Jeff); grandchildren, Alex and Lydia Lenfers and brother, Michael Moore.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Betty McDivitt and niece, Christy Moore.
Friends and family may visit from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois St, Evansville, IN. and again on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. until time of service. A funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday. His final resting place will be at Sunset Cemetery where a military service will be conducted.
