Marilyn, just want to express my sympathy for the loss of your husband. It has been many years since I have seen you, but i have many memories of your family. My brother Bob died in January of this year. It has been a difficult time for so many. Take care.

Larry was a kind and gentle man. I always enjoyed talking to him when he came to visit Robin and Michael in North Carolina. He was always willing to help with heavy landscaping projects that Michael would design. He shared his expertise when Michael decided to clear the trees around his house. In later years, he would find a comfortable chair and watch all the activity around him.
Larry took an active interest in all his grandchildren and was proud of their accomplishments. Each child being totally different, Larry could give you details on their careers. He was able to attend his youngest grandson's graduation from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
I will miss Larry, and I hope he finds a comfortable chair or tractor in heaven where he can keep an eye on everyone below.

It was great growing up on Carol Drive with the Stemaly's. Friday nights in the summer included back yard volleyball games with the kids, while our parents churned homemade ice cream. Larry and Marilyn Stemaly were a big part of creating that community where kids really could be just that....kids! Thank you for all those cherished memories. I will never forget them. And that is just one memory, there were so many.
