Rosario Mateo Jacinto Ranola, 88, of Evansville, joined her Creator on the evening of Monday, February 7, 2022. She was born on September 17, 1933 in Manila, Philippines to the late Salvador and Tomasa (Mateo) Jacinto.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vicente Samson Ranola
Our Mama was a kind and beautiful soul who helped anyone in need. Her hands were always busy working and creating. She loved sewing, cooking, and cleaning was her art. This was how she expressed her love- in devoted service to her family.
Rosario is survived by her children: Faustino Ramon Ranola; Maria Carmen Ranola; Maria Lourdes Ranola-Medrano, married to Robert; Maria Rosario Ranola-Navarro, Janet Concepcion Ranola-Cruz, married to Aaron; and Flordeliz Penaflor. Her grandchildren: Rachelle Rebecca Ranola; Kathleen, Lorenzo, Raphael and Victoria Navarro; Samantha, Matthew and Michael Medrano.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Bernie Etienne officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit on Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Alexander East Chapel. The mass will be livestreamed at www.Facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA.
