Rose Marie Gilles

Rose Marie (Stieler) Gilles, 90, went to her heavenly home on Monday, July 19, 2021. She was born on July 15, 1931, to the late Rudolph and Marie Stieler. Rose Marie graduated from Memorial High School and Lockyear Business College and then worked as a secretary at Servel, Inc. for five years before starting her family. She was a member of The Assembly where she was a Prayer Chain Coordinator since 1998. She also had Bible studies in her home off and on for ten years. Rose Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Alfred J. Gilles and their son, Larry J. Gilles; brothers, Paul and Rudy Stieler; and in-laws, Herb and Ruth Hartz; and Patty Hoffman. She is survived by her children, Jeff (Becky), Brian (Beth), Jim (Bonnie), and Marie Kasinger (John Winiger); eleven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her in-laws, Suzanne and Joanne Stieler, B.J. Gilles, Dorothy Schmitt, Bill Hoffman, Eugene Gilles (Betty); nieces and nephews; and cousins, Edward Shields and Charles and Thomas Stieler. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Alexander North Chapel. Funeral Services will follow at noon with Pastor Glyn Pfohl officiating.
