Rosetta H. Hale Whitman

She worked at Shane’s Clothing Manufacturing for many years until it closed. She attended River of Life Church.

Rosetta loved to fish. She enjoyed dirt track racing and Nascar. She also had a passion for gardening and crossword puzzles. Her biggest passion was her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994, Eddie R. Whitman; sister, Betty Hale Jones.

Rosetta is survived by her son, Ed Brewton (Marsha) from Matthews, NC; daughter, Kim Niehaus Bell (Dale); son, Dan Whitman (Patty); sister, Anna Lee Hale Cathers of Mt. Vernon, IL; grandchildren, Jamie Beth Brewton, Christopher Whitman, Brandon Niehaus, Stephanie Bell, Brandon Bell, Kayla Bell; great-grandchildren, Jailyn Bell, Dayton Bell, Ana Bertola, Gage Bell, and Brayleigh Cravens.

Services will be held at noon Monday, June 10, 2013 at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Rev. Kim Wells and Rev. Tom Hubachek with burial at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit on Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the funeral home and on Monday from 10:00 until service time.
