Roy G. Paschall

Roy was born and raised on the west side of Evansville, in the Howell neighborhood. He graduated from Daniel Wertz Elementary School and later from F.J. Reitz High School. Following his high school graduation, Roy enlisted in the United States Army, proudly serving his country.

After returning home, Roy worked as an ironworker for the Local #103, and then for the Evansville Weights and Measures Department. He was a member of Howell General Baptist Church.

Roy enjoyed hunting, fishing and restoring classic cars. He had a talent for antiquing and repurposing items, often transforming old lanterns into lamps and creating birdhouses from teapots.

He was preceded in death by his son, Aaron Waters.

Roy is survived by his wife, Yvonne (Darnell) Paschall; children, Sonia Waters, Russell Paschall and Sharon (Paschall) Tindle; grandchildren, Alex Tindle, Dakota Martin, and Peighton Tindle; and siblings, Judy (Paschall) Conner and Tommy Paschall.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026 at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery- Heritage Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, Evansville, IN 47720, officiated by Pastor Terry Gamblin. Family and friends may visit on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the cemetery mausoleum chapel.
