Ruby S. Estes

Born on September 21, 1929, to Jacob and Louise Herrenbruck, Ruby went to West Heights School and graduated from F. J. Reitz High School in 1948. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, selflessly and generously dedicating her life to her husband and children every minute for all her days. Ruby was a kind, always polite, sweet soul.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, in 1997 and her son, Gary, in 2024. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Ray and Earl Herrenbruck; her sister, Irma Busing; and her twin sister, Ruth Grainger.

She is survived by her children, daughter, Donna Estes, and son, Robert Estes; daughter—in—law, Dana Estes; grandchildren, Tony Estes (Jessica), Andy Estes, Brennen Estes, Jared Estes; great—grandchildren, Anthony and Thomas Estes; and nephews.

Heartfelt thanks to the Heritage Center and to Linda E. White Hospice House for their care.

Services will be private with burial in Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery.
