She was a caring, loving, dignified and gracious lady who loved gardening and greatly enjoyed her “grandpuppies.” She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, where she was active in volunteer work and Bible studies. Rubye was a longtime volunteer at the American Red Cross.
Rubye was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Hein in 1988.
She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Hein and Rendie Koressel (Michael); grandchildren, Brian and Scott Koressel; sister, Eileen Ely; and brothers, Robert and Wilbur Racine.
Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at The Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 1811 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Pastor Tom Wenig, with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Griffin, IN. Friends may visit Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander East Chapel.
