Ruth A. Deller

She was a bank teller at Old National Bank for 45 years. Ruth was a long-time member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. She was a wonderful person and had a very caring spirit, always putting others before herself.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, William “Bill” Deller; and brother Ben Sloan.

She is survived by her son, Tim Deller Sr. (Cathy); grandchildren, Tim “T.J.” Deller Jr. (Katy), Christina Ellison (Austin), Michael Burden (Rebecca), and Ashley Bland; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Rev. John Sloan; and several nieces and nephews.

Her family extends a special thank you to the staff of Heart to Heart Hospice for all their care and compassion.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN officiated by Pastor Jim Culver followed by burial at Alexander Memorial Park.

Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Monday, September 25, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, September 26 from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
