You are always in our thoughts and prayers Grandma. You meant so much to so many people that you could never imagine. There are no words that can describe how empty we feel without you here with us, but we know that even how hard it is to say goodbye, that you are now in a better place waiting for us when it is our time. We will take care of grandpa, your babies and each other until it is our time. Krystal is doing her best to keep Sunday dinner a tradition and has stepped up as much as she can. It's going to be real difficult at the holidays this year without all those scrumptious desserts like your cress pie and cakes and those yummy bullseyes, you make.. guess I need to start practicing even though they will never compare to yours. I love you and miss you, until we meet again I am sending hugs and kisses to heaven!

Sam, Dave, Lisa, Tony, and Mr. Eapmon, I am shocked and saddened to hear of your loss. It seems like only yesterday we were playing basketball in the Woodards' back yard or sport-of-the-day on Tremont. Like Mike Davis, I feel very strongly about these times and like Mike, I miss you all VERY much. You made the transition to Tremont very easy back in '76 when my mom went through a bitter divorce. Anybody who can't make a friend with the Eapmon family has only themselves to blame because you were always easy-going, friendly and very giving if the situation arose. I would want anyone of you in my corner should a dispute come my way from another party. I will pray for you and plead to God to get you through this. Growing up as a child I can remember spending many summers at your house swimming in your back yard. You were such a wonderful person to be around and always treated me like I was one of your own. You will always hold a special place in my heart. You will truely be missed.

I will try this one more time, I will never forget the times spent from 1968 to present. I grew up knowing the Eapmon's as true friends and family. I will miss you dearly. My first message did not get through but Charlie my heartfelt prayers are with you. we have all got great memories from 1968, when I first came in contact with all of you. I will always remember the good times all of us had over the years and the bond Ruth and my mom had. The years and miles have separated us but the bond of friendship and love will never end. It began in the summer of 1968 when I was blessed to meet my friends across the street. I was 10 years old trying to cut knee high grass when another dark haired boy came across the street his name was Sam. We formed a friendship unlike no other and as the years went by we became better friends. He had a Lemans Sport and I had a Ford LTD, we went to concerts and did everything together. I MISS MY GOOD FRIEND. As time went on we went our own direction in life but the bond was always there with the friend I grew up with. My Mom and Ruth would sit endless hours playing cards or just being there for each other talking and having a good time. I will always remember those days and my friend Sam who I miss Dearly, My heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to all of you. THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORIES GROWING UP WITH A SPECIAL FAMILY LIKE YOU. Words cannot express how much we miss you Momma. You are our everything. It is so hard to pick up the phone and it not be you on the other end or to fight the urge to call you in the middle of the night to tell you to get into bed because it is late. I want to hold your one more time but I am afraid that if I had that chance, I would never let go. 
I keep telling myself that you went ahead of us to prepare things for us just like you prepared everything here and made everything so perfect for us. This is the only thing that eases my heartache. We cry and we then we laugh. When we hear a song that you and Daddy sang or danced to and when we see a sign that we know came from you. We will grieve for a little while but then we will smile as we remember and as we celebrate your life and everything that you have given us. We are here supporting each other and don't worry about Daddy, we will take very good care of him just like you would want us to do. His heart is broken but he knows you are always with him.
