She had worked in factories, as a waitress, and on a Shrimp Boat in Texas and cared for her husband, Raymond Robinson, Sr. until his death. She loved gardening, cooking, flowers and animals.
Ruth was preceded in death by her brother, Ray Hummel; and sisters, Agnes Hummel and Cora Key.
She is survived by her daughter, Tonya E. Wiser and partner, Stacy Kloeck, both of Evansville; sister, Mae Taras of Linden, TN; niece, Mary Shearon of Billingsly, AL; nephew, Sam Hunter of Texas; several great-nieces and nephews; and her faithful cat, Hank.
Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, August 8, 2011, at Alexander Memorial Park.
