Ruth V. Singleton, 100, of Richland, WA, formerly of Evansville, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Emeritus at Richland Gardens. She was born June 26, 1912, in Washington, IN to the late Ezra Joshua Vance and Martha Carrie (Johnson) Vance.
She and her husband, Wallace, were founding members of Methodist Temple.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Wallace Singleton; parents; brother, Clell McDaniel; and sisters, Anna Stafford, Norma Stuckey and Lois Blann.
She is survived by her daughter, Jeanne McPherson; sons, Ken, Mark, Keith and Kurt Singleton; six grandchildren; and sister, Caroline Armes.
Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 6, 2012, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Dean Stuckey, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
