Sandy retired from Bristol Myers after 37 years, where she worked mainly in the receiving department. She enjoyed golf, which she took up after retiring, bowling, cake decorating, cooking, party planning, her flower garden and making furniture. Sandy was a jack-of-all-trades, there wasn’t much she couldn’t do. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, her family was her world.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Stinnett; sister-in-law, Lisa Alexander; and father-in-law, J.D. Alexander.
Sandy is survived by her son, Kevin Heil (Jennifer) of Evansville, IN; daughter, Meghan Henderson (John) of Pleasant View, TN; daughter, Whitney Stinnett of Mt. Vernon, IN; grandchildren, Blaine Heil, Tabitha Heil and Jordan Stinnett; brother, Larry Rudisill (Mona) of New Harmony, IN; brother, Robert “Steve” Rudisill (Chona) of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Donna Condi (Richard) of Evansville, IN; sister, Cheryl Butala (Tim) of Lexington, KY; mother-in-law, June Alexander; sister-in-law, Debbie Shipp (Dan) of Evansville, IN; brother-in-law, David Stinnett (Linda) of Charleston, SC; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 30, 2019 at Alexander West Chapel with Pastor Terry Farmer officiating. Entombment will follow at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit on Sunday from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
