Obituary of Scott "Skip" Willis Fowler
Scott “Skip” Willis Fowler, 65, of Evansville, IN skipped through Heaven’s pearly gates on Sunday, July 7, 2024 surrounded by his family. Born on January 13, 1959 to Roy and Margaret Fowler, Scott made tristate headlines as the first born of the Fowler Triplets. Scott graduated from Bosse High School in 1977 and retired from Keller Crescent after 30 plus years of service. He was a devoted husband, brother, uncle, friend and neighbor. His sense of humor, quick whips, and amazing smile kept those around him on their toes. An avid sports fan, you could find him cheering on his favorite teams the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs. He enjoyed bowling, golf, spending time on his back patio, and being around family and friends. Scott was preceded in death by his beloved wife and soulmate Debbi; his parents; and sister Sherry Price (Fowler). Scott is survived by his triplet sisters, Shannon (Steve) Sullenger and Stacey Davis; brother, Steve Fowler (Barbara); nieces and nephews; Kevin, Kassie, Kelly, Mallory (Brian), Haley, Eric (Lori), Chelsea, and Lindsey; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Donna (Marion), Darla, Dale (Kim), and Dane (Denise); Debbi’s nieces and nephews, Tommy (Meredith), Darla (Rob), Derek (Sarah), Beth (Brian), Sarah (Jon), Jody (Johnny), Kylie and 13 great nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Deaconess Gateway MSICU unit, especially the care from nurses Jackie and Emily. In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution to Vanderburgh Humane Society as Scott was a lover of animals, but none more than his sister’s Shih-Tzu Cher. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue with Pastor Dave Bowersox officiating. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered at www.AlexanderEastChapel.com.
