Scottie Wayne Denton, 54, of Henderson, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021. He was born on January 22, 1967 in Henderson to the late Wendell and Bonnie (Taylor) Denton.
He worked at Insulpro, Inc. for over twenty years as a professional acoustic and thermal technician. Scottie loved his family and his close network of friends. He was a very gentle, understanding, and kind person. Scottie was a very forgiving man who never held a grudge. He was his brother’s keeper. His family will remember him for his many unique sayings and phrases.
Scottie valued everything and everything had a purpose. His favorite pastime was arrowhead hunting, his favorite movie was King Pin, and he was a foosball champion.
Scottie is survived by his wife, Connie (Basham) Denton; sons, Jeremy Wayne Denton and Joshua Lee Denton; three step-children, Chasity Walters, Ashley Latham, and Michael Latham; four grandchildren, Macayla Denton, Anne Denton, Brody James Zachary Denton, Katherine Grace Denton, and Shon Everitt Denton; niece, Chelsey Marie Mcpheeters (Stephen); nephew, Trevor Landon Denton; and great-nieces and nephews including Brayden Bausinger, Jordan Bausinger, Whitley Bausinger, Mikah Mcpheeters, and Emily Mcpheeters.
There will be no services held.
