She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Harper.
Shelia is survived by her son, Darren (Regene) Newman; grandchildren, Brock and Paige Newman; siblings, Agnes (Robert) Mooney, Chris Pruit, Daisy (Ronald) Lindsey, Doris Powell, Joan Arnold, Bettye (Glendall) Smith, and Richard (Kathy) Alvey; and many nieces and nephews.
