Shiela K. Wiley

Shiela loved her dog Tia very much. She enjoyed watching Ghost Hunter and cooking shows and also loved to read. She had a great sense of humor and made everyone around her feel welcome and loved.

She was preceded in death by her significant other, Randy Chism; parents, Darrel and Vera Wiley; brother, Allen R. Wiley; and niece, Dawn Bowers.

Shiela is survived by her son, Michael B. Newton (Crystal); daughter, Reanna Arnold (Daniel); son, Dereck Newton (Delaney); 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Mark Wiley; sisters, Shary Bryan (Danny) and Phyllis Guldeman (Bruce); and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at River Bend Nursing and Rehabilitation for their friendship to Shiela.

Memorial donations may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital or any animal shelter.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN.
