Shirley A. Bloomer

She was a member of West Side Christian Church and past church treasurer. She was a CWF Treasurer and member of Eastern Star. She was active in PTA while her children were in school and enjoyed baking and giving her baked goods away. She had worked at Art’s Glass, Conard Wholesale Liquors, and Evansville Vanderburgh County Building Commission.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Bloomer; and brother, Robert Martin.

She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Lehman (Roger) of Evansville; son, Rick Bloomer (DeAnn) of Boaz, AL; grandchildren, Matthew and Sarah Lehman and Kala Bloomer; great-grandchildren, Austin Bloomer and Jack Lehman; sisters, Dorothy Qualls and Sue Ham, both of Evansville; several nieces and nephews; and her other kids, Bob and Sharon Flesher and Doug and Lauren Long, all of Evansville.

Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, December 30, 2010, at West Side Christian Church, 1200 North Red Bank Road, officiated by Rev. Gary Brunson and Rev. Terry Gamblin with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 West Illinois Street.
