

Stan was born May 16, 1915, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Curtin Leroy Hollingsworth and Cora May Yingst Hollingsworth. Stan was preceded in death by his loving wife, Florence Elizabeth Ritts Hollingsworth and his afore mentioned parents.
He was a World War II Veteran from May 1945 until July 1946.
After living and working in many states over the course of his career, his final place of employment when he retired was Purchasing Agent for the City of Kettering, Ohio.
Stan was a member of Jefferson Masonic Lodge 90 in Middletown, Ohio, member of Evansville Scottish Rite, and a member of the Sahib Shriners in Sarasota, Florida as well as the Hadi Shriners in Evansville, Indiana where he was on the Hospital Staff driving children back and forth to the Shriners Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was also a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. Stan was a member of Old North United Methodist church.
He was an avid pilot having owned a small plane and flying around the country side. Stan was also a ham radio enthusiast for many years.
He is survived by his three children, Judith Ann Hollingsworth Carr (Herb Carr), Keith Leroy Hollingsworth, and Kristin Sue Hollingsworth; six grandchildren, Kimberly Anne Wathen (David Wathen), Scott Herbert Carr (Theresa Carr), Brian Hollingsworth, Ann Hollingsworth-Horn (Daniel Horn), Stephanie Paris (Jeremiah Paris), and Justin Newkirk; nine great-grandchildren, Brittany Carroll, Blake Wathen, Zachary Carr, Zoe Carr, Zane Carr, Kyle Horn, Alex Horn, Bailee Paris, and Bruce Newkirk; two great-great-grandchildren, Jaize Carroll and Jordan Carroll.
Private services will be held at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery conducted by Rev. Glen Flowers and Daylight Masonic Lodge #752.
Contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for crippled Children, c/o Hadi Temple, or Old North United Methodist Church.
