Obituary of Stanley Phillip Neu
Stanley Phillip Neu, 77, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020 in Evansville, IN. He was born in Evansville, IN on January 27, 1943 to the late Wilburn and Isabel (Henze) Neu. He graduated from North High School and Purdue University. He served in the Air Force during Vietnam and retired from Whirlpool Corp. Stan was a NASCAR fan and was a member of the America Volkssport Assoc. and The River City Ramblers Walking Club serving as treasurer. Stan was a member of St. Lucas UCC where he was in the church choir, past council member, and a member of Friends in Faith Sunday School Class. Stan was preceded in death by his parents; and mother and father-law, George and Leah Mason. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Linda (Mason) Neu; sister, Tamera Hennessey (Dale); sons, Jake Neu (Jennifer), and David Neu; and nephew, Grant Hennessey. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 10, 2020 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Pastor Lynn Martin, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Friday 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
