He was a lifetime member of Grace Baptist Church. Steve was employed with the City of Evansville 24 years. He was a gun enthusiast and former part owner of J & S Guns.
Steve is survived by his son, Kyle Bitter; parents, Bill and Wilma Bitter; brother Bill Bitter, Jr., and sister, Lesli Werner.

A Memorial Service of Steve’s Life will be 4:00PM, Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Rev. Ray Deeter. Friends may visit on Saturday from 1:00PM to service time at the funeral home.
