Susan Behme

Susan Nicholson Behme, 71, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Deaconess VNA Charlier Hospice. She was born July 18, 1942 in Evansville, IN to the late Joseph C. and Helen J (Strouse) Nicholson.

She was employed with EVSC as a job coach for special needs students. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and enjoyed traveling.

Susan is survived by her son, Brandon (Chrissy) Behme; grandchildren, Breylin, Raniya, Jordin, Naomi and Brielle; brother, Joe C (Rosemary) Nicholson of Carlsbad, CA; sister, Kathy Robertson of Yellow Springs, OH; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to thank the staff at Deaconess VNA Charlier Hospice for their care.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, July 7, 2014 at Alexander East Chapel, with private burial services in St. Joseph Cemetery on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
