Suzette F. (Thomas) Ferguson, 75, of Evansville passed away Monday February 7, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born January 22, 1947 in Marion, OH to the late John and Angeline (Hiler) Thomas.
Sue is best remembered as being very loving, caring, and supportive. She was a military wife, who after living in several locations, retired in Newburgh. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, and arranging flowers. She also liked hunting for treasures at garage sales and flea markets.
Sue dearly loved spending time with her boys, daughter-in-laws and grandchildren. Through the years, you could always find Sue sitting by and giving her full support to whatever activities they were participating in. They were her entire world.
She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Walter Ferguson, Jr; her parents, John and Angie Thomas and brother, Steven Thomas.
Sue is survived by her sons, Scott Ferguson (Jennifer) and Chad Ferguson (Kari); beloved grandchildren, Tyler, Paige, and Kaleigh; sister, Laurie Samuels; brothers, Chuck Thomas (Isabell) and Mike Thomas (Pam); and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 PM and Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 9:00 AM until the start of the funeral service at Alexander North Chapel at 4200 Stringtown Rd. The funeral service, officiated by Pastor Doug Horner, will begin at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. It will also be viewable via livestream at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA.
