He graduated from Harrison High School in 1968 and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of Oak Hill Church of Christ.
Terry was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother, Rita Potts; siblings, Rhonda (Larry) Cornett, Rodney Simpson, and Stacy (Dale) Scherzer; and ten nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jon Riley, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
