He loved golf, umpiring at the ball fields, and playing bingo and pull tabs at the VFW. Tom retired from the US Army and had done 2 tours in Vietnam. He was also a member of VFW #1114.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Deborah (Nichols) Gibbs; daughter, Shellee Gibbs; sons, Scott Gibbs and Andrew Gibbs; grandchildren, Taylor Denise, Michael Cooper, Jr., Ryan Cooper, Brooklyn Gibbs, and Kai Gibbs; and great grandchild, Caylee Cooper.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
