Steve was a car enthusiast and also loved trucks, boats, and traveling. He worked at Lowe’s for many years, and had many great friends that he considered family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy J. Thompson; and sister, Brenda Thompson.
Steve is survived by his mother, Edna M. Rowe; sisters, Jean Replogle, Valerie (Greg) Henrichsmeyer, and Donna (Fritz) Long; nephews, Brian Replogle and T.J. Long; and niece, Emily Shawgo.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date in Springfield, IL.
