Velma I. Dunn, 89, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her children. She loved gardening and flowers, was a great cook and loved spending time with her grandkids. She had been a member of Cairo Methodist Church in Cairo, KY. Velma was preceded in death by husband, Frank Dunn; parents, Richard and Surch McCormick and Pearl Berrong, and sisters, Betty Darr and Beverly Williams. She is survived by sons, Robert Dunn, Michael Dunn and Dennis Dunn; daughters, Regina Collier (Glen), Marsha Dunn, Vicki Phillips (Mike), Debra O’Brien (Tom), Tami Scully (Andy) and Susie Walker; grandchildren, Christopher Dunn, Chad Dunn, Brad Dunn, Brent Thomas, Kandi Woodall, Tracy Woodall, Kristi Huffman, Christopher Bartlein, Heath Phillips, Lindsey Turney, Keil O’Brien, Brooke Scully, Jordan Scully and Amity Chaudoin; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Joy McCormick, Karen Lewis and Linda Corbett, and nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be 10:00AM, Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Chaplain Tom Hubachek, with entombment in Oak Hill Cemetery.
