She was a devout Christian and attended Apostolic Church of Wasson in Harrisburg, IL. She was devoted to her grandchildren.
Venita was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson James Walker; sisters, Barbara Eichler, Regina Shoup Kelsey and Loyce Huffstetler.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Ziliak of Atlanta, GA, Susan Caldwell of Klamath Falls, OR, Carol Yates of Corning, CA and Lisa (Michael) Mills of Evansville; grandchildren, Scott Leroux, Athena Walker, Michael, Cindy, Don, Nathan, Jason and Joseph Caldwell, Jeremy and Emerson J. Yates; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Reba Wilson of Yampa, CO.
Private services will be held.
