Viola J. Bellomy

Viola “Jo” Bellomy, 83, of Evansville, was sent home to heaven to be with her late husband, Harold Bellomy, Sr., and son, Mark Bellomy, Sr., on Monday, May 4, 2015, at Deaconess Hospital. She was born August 6, 1931, in Iron Hill, TN, to the late Leonard and Reba (Bell) Robbins.

She loved to be with her family and friends, travel, and sing karaoke; among many other things. In the summer-time she liked to frequent Scales Lake with her family. She was a member of Victory Baptist church, where she had a lot of great memories with amazing people, and retired from Faultless Caster in 1996.

Jo is survived by her son, Harold “Bud” (Barb) Bellomy, Jr.; daughter, Kathy (Steve) Speer, both of Evansville; grandchildren, Mark Jr., Cody, Lee, Drew, Christopher, Marc, and Tiffany Bellomy; and Kendra Dearing; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 1:30 PM Friday, May 8, 2015, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Steve Church, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
