W. Geneva Swain, 88, of Evansville, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016, at Signature Healthcare of Newburgh. She was born July 27, 1928, in Gallatin County, IL to the late Sylvester and Nora (Barrett) Schoeny.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was involved in Circle D. She was a retired legal secretary and was a member of the Evansville Legal Secretary Association.
Geneva was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sylvia G. Underwood; and son, Allen J. Wilkins.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Allman; son, Mark Wilkins; grandchildren, Kristy Anders, Shawn Fulmer, Amanda Hammond, Heather Hart, Mistina Hernandez, and Kristin Wilkins-Sessums; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 11:30 AM Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Alexander East Chapel, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
