Wanda Gaye Englert, 85, of Evansville, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at her home. She was born on August 26, 1935 in McHenry, Kentucky to the late James Thomas and Ertie (Albin) Mitchell.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Richard E. Englert; parents; and brothers, Jay and Tommy Mitchell.
Wanda is survived by daughters, Connie Payne, Bonnie Wolf, and Donna Englert; grandchildren, Jennifer Wittmer (Brad), Richard Payne, Lacy Haley (Thomas), Kayla Hunter (Austin) and Ryan Rowlett; 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Linda Glover, Erma Garrett and Teresa Williams; and many nieces and nephews who she loved.
A Celebration of Life will take place following the graveside service at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2020, at Sunset Memorial Park.
