

She was an active and long-time member of Church of God of Prophecy. Wanda served as a summer church camp counselor, Sunday school teacher, women’s missionary leader, vacation bible school teacher, and organized many church activities and dinners. She was a faithful member of the women’s prayer group when she was able to attend.
Wanda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, and baking.
She was a liver and kidney transplant recipient and encouraged others to be organ donors.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Tester Sr.; siblings, including Wilbur Jordan, Grace Hall and Viola Nelson.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Hirsch (Bill); son, Charles Tester Jr.; daughter, Patricia Anderson (Anthony); grandchildren, Amanda Heil (Chris) and Grace Anderson; brothers, Lawrence Jordan (Eva) and Donald Jordan; and many nieces, nephews and church friends.
Services will be held at11:00 AM Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Bishop William Gaddis with entombment at Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Church of God of Prophecy Benevolent Fund, 3407 Bellemeade Ave, Evansville.
