

Wanda Lee McDonald Ward, 90, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020, at Solarbron Nursing Home. She was born on September 1, 1929, in Corbin, TX to the late Perry Green and Pearlie (Noblin) Yancey.
Wanda was a member the University Heights Baptist Church in Evansville for many years, and previously Trinity Baptist Church. She was also a longtime member of Howell General Baptist Church. She had been in the seamstress business for many years in her home. Wanda cared for her first husband, William for 18 years during his serious illness and did the same for JB during his lengthy illness for 13 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, William McDonald; and second husband, JB Ward; two sisters; and stepsons, George and Fred McDonald.
Wanda is survived by her two daughters, Rebecca (Paul) Farley and Evelyn (Dennis) Knight; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Due to COVID 19, there will be a private graveside service.
