She was a member of Vann Avenue Baptist Church and retired from Atlas Van Lines after 44 years of employment.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; son, David Young; daughter, Shannon Young; brother, Richard “Bud” Haire; and sisters, Jerri Green, Betty Ford, Patsy Skeels and Deanna Alexander.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Paul Young of Boonville; brothers, Randy Haire of Ft. Branch and Terry “Butch” Haire of Boonville; nieces and nephews; and her pets, Butch and Cuddles.
Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by her brother, Randy Haire, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
