

Warren graduated from Tell City High School in 1973 and from Lockyear Business College with a degree in accounting. He worked as a lumber inspector at Indiana Hardwoods and Maley & Wertz. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, and enjoyed camping throughout the year. Warren was a long-time member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church where he belonged to the Holy Rosary Men’s Club. He also was a member of the Son’s of the American Legion Post #44. Warren was a score keeper for various sports, especially baseball. He loved planning and planting his garden every year.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wayne Evrard.
Warren is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Karen (Dickhaut) Evrard; son, Joe Evrard (Jamie Shoulders); daughter, Sara Brown (Zack); grandchildren, Olivia Shoulders and Maddie and Everett Brown; sister, Joanie Evrard; and several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1301 S. Green River Road, officiated by Fr. Bernie Etienne. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home – East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue and on Sunday from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the church. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
