Willard was a Sergeant First Class in the U.S. Army. He also served on the Newburgh Police Department. Willard went on to work at Rural King, where he did small engine repairs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Willard is survived by his cousin, Pamela Alves (Kenneth) and several other cousins and family members.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN followed by burial at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
