Laura, Gianna and I send our condolences to you, his loving sisters, niece, and nephew. It was 36 years ago that Billy, Brayton, and I hiked the Chugach at 2 am and worked the slopes of Ptarmigan Peak. We survived because of youth and freeze dried shrimp (Billy couldn’t make himself eat them). Billy, Bobby, Brayton, and Steve are together climbing.

To those close to Billy, I am sorry for your loss. I think in spirit he is assuredly with your Mom and Bobby. His love for nature and hiking was shared by Brayton. I see them there on a grand adventure, in a beautiful heavenly canyon, and flying among the stars.

Elizabeth, Maria and Dee - Lianne and I are with you as you grieve the loss of Billy. I wish we were physically standing with you, but know we are in spirit. Memory is one thing we still have of Billy and for whatever reason the word innocence comes to my mind. My memory is mostly connected to forty years ago. I will say this, I looked forward to sitting with Billy on a sunny heavenly hillside under a tree and really get to know him.
