He was a security volunteer at Bethel Temple, a sales representative for Matco Tool and retired from Paslode.
William was preceded in death by Linda Bland.
He is survived by his sons, Mike (Cathy), Hanz (Sara) and Bali (Ericka) Hoag, all of Evansville, and John (Najiba) Hoag of Vermont; grandchildren, Sean, Cameron, Cassidy, Bryana, Landon, Hart, Cezanne, Elyas and Najiba; sister, Trudy Bordenaro; and his sons’ mother, Dagmar Hoag.
Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. David Schwambach. Friends may visit Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
