

William Thomas “Tom” Rogers, 69, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, in Evansville, due to complications following a bilateral stroke. He was born on February 27, 1947, in Evansville, to the late John F. and Helen Rogers.
He attended Harper Elementary School, Harrison High School, Indiana University, and the University of Evansville. He married Cheryl Snodgrass in 1992. Tom worked in a variety of places from a small pizza restaurant in Newburgh, “Midway on the One Way” to working with his mother at the Roca Bar following the death of his father. Later, Tom became a well-known remodeling contractor, rebuilding many residential and commercial projects.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Rogers of Evansville; brother and sister, Jack (Nona) Rogers of Evansville and Jill (Richard) Martin of Bonita Springs, FL; nephew, John; step-son, Jack Snodgrass, his wife and their children.
At Tom’s request, his corneas were donated and his body cremated. A Memorial Service was held at 6:00 PM Friday, April 15, 2016, at Alexander East Chapel. Friends visited Friday from 4:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
