William "Butch" Sears

William Ray "Butch" Sears, 76, of Evansville, IN passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born in Jeffersonville, IN on January 7, 1946 to the late Charlie Bledsoe and Mary Katherine (Milam) Sears. He was a member of the Boilermakers Local 374. He served in the Army 101st Airborne in the Vietnam War. William enjoyed watching Nascar, and arguing with his wife. Butch is survived by his wife of 54 years, Peggy Sears; children, Lori Sears, Mary White (Jonathan), Billy Sears (Nicole); grandchildren, Bryson Sears, Marissa White, Addison Sears; brother, David Sears; several nieces and nephews.
