He attended Bethel Temple and was a member of the Indiana Sheriff’s Association and the Indiana State Police Alliance. In 1989, he retired from Teamsters Local 215 after 36 years of service.
William was preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Lamberson; son, Brian Spiehler; and companion, Evaline Reed.
He is survived by his son, Mark Spiehler (Phyllis); three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 4, 2018, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Randy Bechtel, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Friday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
